MUSIC WORLD

Owen Ex-Catatonia A-LIST As seen on TV and in the press. As strong feelings for the club which we like to see not like most in the pop world who only seem to support Premiership teams. Unlike most of the like can be seen going through the turnstile not the freebie door I have been told

Gruff Rhys Super Furry Animals A-LIST Sponsored the City shirt top for the 99/00 Premier Cup games, can't get better than that for showing support for your club. Update:- Said in a interview 21/7/01..... Cardiff City got wise when Sam Hammam moved in, which is a great thing really because we all want the best for them. Under the previous chairman it only cost us £4.000 to sponsor the team. I'm sure Sam Hammam would get wise to that and ask for a lot more.

Martin Rossiter from Gene A-LIST Seen on Soccer AM on Sky talked with a good knowledge of the City and willing to drop the name of the club into most interviews in the press.

Stuart Cable Stereophonics A-LIST  Stuart was seen on CD: UK sporting a Bluebirds top and a number of e-mails have confirm him a long time Bluebird fan. He was seen drinking with City fans before the Leeds game.

Nicky Wire The Manic Street Preachers B-LIST Been told by Jonny Bach "I know for a fact that Nicky Wire used to have a season ticket in the Grandstand but him and the rest of the band are 'too busy' to watch the Bluebirds."

Super Furry Animals 'The Band' B/C LIST Are all Cardiff City fans to a varying degree.

SHOW BUSINESS AND TV PERSONALLY

Jeremy Bowen A-LIST The BBC breakfast anchorman is a Bluebird I have been told. Not sure myself but if some out there knows the truth of the matter. Then let me know. Update:-  He was interviewed in the Wales on Sunday and is a fan with a love of the club so he is upgraded from C-List to A.

Roald Dahl C-LIST Been told by Pete He was big city fan in the 30s. Says so in a his autobiography.

Gruff Rhys Jones C-LIST Been told he's a City fan but not a die-hard City fan, he often plugs the City in interviews.

ACTORS

Andrew Howard A-LIST Seen doing the rounds being interviewed about is new film he is a Actor/Writer. He was sporting a Bluebird pin badge, and said he was a big fan of Cardiff in a number of newspaper interviews

Boyd Clack A-LIST Information supplied by Blainename@ Boyd Clack of Satellite City fame as an actor and writer is a big city fan who stooped coming because he felt he was unluckily for the team. Boyd trained at the Welsh College of  Music and drama and when a youngster played football for his school and the civil service his dream was to be noticed by a city rep. Boyd still attends matches with me and the family but still thinks he brings bad luck so is reluctant to go.

SPORTING BLUEBIRDS FANS

Ryan Giggs D-LIST A Cardiff born boy who plays for Manchester Utd and Wales and is a City fan to boot or so we are to believe. It's a surprise to me because in all the fact files on the player I've seen over the years they put him down as a Manchester Utd fan. This sudden found love of Cardiff City could not be anything to do with the stick he's been getting about the lack of interest in playing for Wales. Well he did pick the best supported team in Wales. Update:-  In a interview in the Welsh Mirror he again say he was a Man U fan and no mention of the Bluebirds. Ryan Giggs Website   Giggs at home

Jason Perry Ex-City Player A-LIST Cardiff City is his club and he was truly gutted when he was told the was no long wanted at the club. Another player who if he went into management would like to be manager of Cardiff City.

Craig Bellamy A-LIST A Cardiff boy played for Norwich (well someone as too) now playing for Coventry (well someone as too) now playing for Newcastle (well that's better) and in his own words a 100% Cardiff City nut. Watch's the Blue's as much as he can being a football player and would like to play for the club one day.

Nathan Blake Ex-City Player A-LIST Became god like among City fans and still is, had the best chant heard at Ninian Park in a long time. "He's black, he's mean, he's robs your fruit machine, Nathan Blake, Nathan Blake". Sold cheap by the club but still a No 1 fan, he would like to manage the club at the end of his playing career .Nathan's Website

Dai Thomas Ex-City Player A-LIST A 100% Cardiff City nut. Who cannot remember his first game for the Bluebirds away at Shrewsbury instant hero but it all end a bit of a zero in the end with a large number of the crowd turning on the player. The Euro 2000 problems have been well documented. Update:- Thomas was sent to prison after he was caught on CCTV throwing a advertising board at Leeds fans at the 01/02 FA Cup game. He is ban from Ninian Park

Simon Haworth Ex-City Player A-LIST Another football playing supporter. Made his name at Cardiff were he was a player then sold to Coventry now playing at Wigan. Update:- He is now playing for Tranmere

Barry Jones A-LIST Barry Jones the boxer who hails from Ely I have been told is a genuine Bluebird and wore 1927 embroiled on his boxing shorts. He wore a Bluebirds  t-shirt on entering the ring in one of his fights, wore a city shirt when he won his title in a after fight interview on Sky Sports. Sounds good to me, Bluebirds.

Paul Giles Ex-City Player A-LIST As a teenager he signed for Manchester Utd but if it was today he would jump on to the Bluebirds books. Play for the Bluebirds  in his words "Football has been my life. I started out with the club I love, Cardiff City."

Barry John  C-LIST Been told by Rob R "I heard an interview with former egg god Barry John last year on Talk Radio. He spoke at length about the Bluebirds, recalled the banter he had with his J*ck loving team-mate Gareth Edwards. Couldn't tell if he was a fan or just a follower, but his heart is in the right place."

Matt Elias 400 meters runner B-LIST Changed the colour of his hair to blue at the European Championships in Munich. to honour is beloved Bluebirds.

OTHERS

Dannie Abse A-LIST A true blue I've listen to him talk about the City and you just know he loves the team and the club.

Ken Jones A-LIST Looking for information on this Bluebird supporting Journalist

Mike Young Mr. Super Ted A-LIST Remember Super Ted walking on to the pitch at Ninian Park as Mike Young was planning a take-over of the Bluebirds. The take-over came to nothing for one thing or another but the guy was a City fan now living in LA but still keeps in touch with the City as a internet fan. He will always make a b-line to Ninian Park if in the country.

David Sullivan D-LIST Well most City fans would have heard of Mr. Sullivan's love of the Bluebirds, as every time the city are up for sale he will be first to tell you he would love to buy the club and the first to say he won't be buying the club. Owner of the Sport and Sunday Sport newspaper's and big time porn baron and one time Newport County fan and part owner of Birmingham City.

Neil Kinnock B-LIST He has been interviewed in the last few weeks and as declared a long standing love for the Bluebirds. Becoming a bit of a regular at Ninian Park

Rhodri Morgan C-LIST The First Secretary of Wales is  more of a Cardiff RFC fan but in his own words. Was a City fan as a teenager

Dafydd Wigley Z-LIST I read in his column in one of the papers that he he's been a blue since he was a young  boy. So the so called "Voice of Wales" (I always thought Tom Jones was known as the Voice of Wales) a bluebird, me thinks not. If one of the Premier clubs were Welsh he would be there number one fan it would be interesting to know the last time this number one fan was at Ninian Park.

THE REALLY SAD WELSH PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT MANCHESTER UNITED AND THE LIKE OR EGG CHASER.

Actors

Ioan Gruffudd Z-LIST  As the papers always say about him "a Hollywood heart-throb" is a well known Egg Chaser sad or what. To my knowledge he as no interest in football and not like to be seen down at Ninian Park, unless filming the new Escape from Victory 2, in which he will play the Welsh goalkeeper who gets his arm broken to let Sean Connery play in goal. Update:- He send a message of good luck to the Bluebirds before there play-off game against Stoke.

Matthew Rhys Z-LIST Actor friend of Ioan Gruffudd and they share a flat in London. Matthew as never mention Cardiff City in a interview but sits around the flat watching rugby videos sad or what.

Music World

The Manic Street Preachers Z-LIST Can't say for sure but I believe the interest in football is based on the Welsh national team (they sang a get  the manager out song and wanted to help paid the wages of El Tel of England if he was going to be the new manager of Wales)  and fans of English Premiership teams and to top that Egg Chasers too boot. Not Nicky Wire who is believed to be a Bluebird.

Stereophonics not the drummer Z-LIST I would like to say that they were 100% City nutters but that would be a lie but who knows they could come out of the closet soon. Came out big-time for the Egg Chasers World Cup. The word on the street is one member is a Leeds fans (well someone as too).

Tom Jones Z-LIST Mr. Jones possibly the greatest living Welshman. Musically the tops with most of the trendy pop stars and on the party A-list. Has for his football pedigree, he as not got any, he is a Rugby boyo so that puts him on the Nutty Sounds Z-list.

Cerys Ex-Catatonia Z-LIST A well known Manchester Untied fan who once won a celebrity hanger-on fan of the season from Manchester Untied fans or better still a fan looking for a big club to be a fan of because it's trendy and could be a rugby hanger-on to. Update:- Cerys is trying to start up a solo career.
